Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Monday  recovered 2.856 kilograms of the fine quality  Cocaine pills concealed in handbag of a Indian National woman who was travelling from Lome to Mumbai. The acused woman is arrested by the NCB officials and is taken into custody for further questioning.

According to the police, the accused woman has been identified as Khiangte Lathlamuani was trying to import the illegal drugs (Cocaine pills) in India. The woman was travelling from Lome to Mumbai in Ethiopian Airlines. As she reached Mumbai, the NCB oficial doubt on woman and asked to show her bag. There was nothing inside her lugage, but when the officials checked her handbag they were shocked to see the the wisky bottle and a cocaine pills concealed inside.

Woman carrying drugs worth Rs 1.47 crore arrested at Mumbai Airport

The official immediately arrested the woman and taken in to the custody. Similar case has come to seen on March 26 of this year where  a Nigerain woman was held with 4.9 kg drugs worth Rs 1.47 Crore at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
