Aurangabad: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday announced State police personnel aged over 40 would soon get digital health cards to keep a check on their health and also ensure prevention, early detection and timely treatment of diseases.

The announcement was made CM during the inaugural ceremony of the 29th  Maharashtra State Police Games.He also spoke about the welfare schemes that are being planned and promised their implementation at the earliest.

“Our policemen reside in houses and quarters that are in dilapidated conditions. It seems these quarters are centuries old and belong to the historic era,“ said Fadnavis.

The chief minister said the state has set a target of constructing more quarters for policemen in the next four years. The number of such structures is more than those constructed in the last 40 years, he said.
