Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikward beats 60-year-old Air India staff  with his slippers and tore his shirts over an seat issue at IGI Airport today.  An Air India spokesperson informed about the incident and has constituted a team to probe the whole incident.

According to the sources, the incident took place today when Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikward had an arguement over the seat after which he attacked one of the staff with his slippers. MP Ravindra Gaikward from Maharashtra’s Osmanabad has also admittted that he had hit the staff because he has misbehaved with him.

“Yes I beat him as he had misbehaved with me,” Gaikwad said. As per the report, Gaikward had purchased a business class ticket but was given an economy class seat. When he complained about the issue to one of the staff  he ignored and misbehaved to which Gaikward hit him.

“We have constituted a team to probe the whole incident,” Air India spokesperson said.

 

 

 

Air India lodged a complaint with the police against the Shiv Sena MP for “assaulting” its duty manager at Delhi airport, an airline spokesperson said

Police said the officer, Sukumar, has been sent for medical examination and based on its report a case will be registered.
