Thane: With an objective to spread awareness of the latest technology in the field of pest control, The Pest Management Professionals Welfare Association, Mumbai (PMPWAM) organised three day conference for its members and non-member pest control service providers at Rivergate Resort, Karjat. The conference was conducted from 28th February to 2nd of March.

The conference witnessed around 70 business owners and 12 leading suppliers from Afghanistan, Delhi, and Karnataka. In the presence of Mr Raju Parulkar (President  of Indian Pest Control Association IPCA), Mr Abhijit Barua (Zonal Manager of M.s Bayer), Mr Shiv Kumar, Mr Deepak Chavan, Mr. Mahendra Katke and the President of PMPWAM Mr Sanjay Agnihotri, Secretary, Mr.Hemang Goradia, President of Indian Pest Control Association, IPCA, inaugurated the seminar with lighting of lamp and later gave their valuable thoughts on the latest technology invention in the pest control field.IMG-20170306-WA0019PMPWAM headquartered in Mumbai, believes in providing latest scientific developments and technology to the Pest Control owners, Pest Control Technicians, educating service receivers about pests and safe pest control and generating awareness to common public.

It has conducted various training programmes, workshops, conferences in the last three years of its inception and each programme turned out to be a huge success.

The Pest Control industry is growing by leaps and bounds due to increasing urbanisation, disposable income and hygiene awareness. This has also led to mushrooming of companies with no limited knowledge and without Pesticide license leading to deaths in Versova few years ago and unreported hospitalization of many customers.
