Mumbai: Its been 50 days of demonetisation, the Congress workers is all about to dig the BJP government by doing a rally on Janpuary 6 and 8. To pull down BJP government a group of 50 Congress workers protested against PM Modi in filmy style by  getting anti-modi tattoo on their hands which reads “huamara pradhan mantri rishwatkhor hain.” (Our PM is Corrupt) on Thursday.  The idea came up from the Film ‘Deewar’ in which Amitabh got inked  his hand which reads ‘Mera Baap Chor Hai.’  Mumbai Congress  come up with this  unique idea to protest against BJP government and PM Modi.

From December 30 midnight, Mumbai Congress will start a missed call line where people who feel they are hit by the decision of demonetisation can give a missed call and register their protest.

Furrther the Congress has also planned to do rally aagainst demonetisation on January 6 and ‘gherao’ at all collectorate offices in western suburban area of Churchgate and Bandra.  On January 8, Mumbai Mahila Congress will hold a protest rally from Mahalxmi temple where they will do ‘taal katora andolan’ said, Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam.

“We wanted to question PM Modi on Saturday when he was on a visit to Mumbai about the allegations levelled against him by Rahul Gandhi, but police kept us under house arrest. Rahul asked him about the money that he received from big business houses but PM doesn’t want to answer and thus we have decided on these temporary tattoos. It is our way to protest against PM who is still silent on such serious charges,” he alleged.

Sources within Mumbai Congress said that they will lead its BMC poll campaign from new year targeting government on the issue of demonetisation. Congress workers will conduct a door to door campaign telling people about the adverse effects of demonetisation.
