Putting an end to the dilly-dally of the Cabinet reshuffle, it has been confirmed that the reshuffle of the Union Council of Ministers has been scheduled for Sunday 10 am.
A meeting at the residence of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s residence was held last evening, that included Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, as members of the meeting. While BJP president Amit Shah was in Vrindavan for an RSS coordination meeting.
The latest development a day prior to the reshuffling 6 ministers resigned from their existing posts. They included, Bandaru Dattatreya (labour minister), Nirmala Sitharaman (commerce & industry portfolio) and five other ministers had stepped down from their posts on Thursday.
PM Modi’s Cabinet reshuffle is scheduled for Sunday 10am.
