Mumbai: After Kapil Sharma who was in news for illegal contruction, now bollywood actor Anushka Sharma seems to be in trouble as BMC has serves notice to Anushka for illegal contruction outside her apartment. Anushka Sharma owns the entire 20th floor in Badrinath Tower (Versova, Mumbai) and has been happily living in the society with her parents for quite few years.

According to the media reports, it was Anushka Sharma’s neighbour and former secretary Sunil Batra who had recently filed a complaint at the BMC, accusing Anushka for ullegaly installing an electric junction box in the common passage area of the society.

BMC defends notice to Kapil on unauthorised construction

The neighbour in his complaint also stated that Sharma has flouted several other laws. After receiving the complaint, the BMC has inspected about the installation and had serve with a notice to remove the electric junction box immediately. However the actress’ spokeperson revealed that these allegations were baseless and the electric junction box was installed only after all permissions were in place.

Neighbour Batra  proved his point, by producing a copy of the letter written by the K Ward assistant engineer, which read as, “To the owners/occupiers of flat Nos 2001 and 2002, the installation of electric junction box in the common passage area of society is highly objectionable. You are directed to remove the box otherwise necessary action will be initiated as per the MMC Act.


As per the media reports, some of the resident of the same building has come out in support of Anuskha and told Batra has some personal issues against the society and the Sharma family. Some also said Batra himself has multiple illegal parking spaces, apart from other illegal cionstruction in and areound his house.
