The Mumbai City has witnessed 5 deaths this year, and nearly 1,000 of the dengue cases has been recorded till now. According to the sources, on October 17, a 20 year-old engineering student pursuing her graduation in Jalgaon died of dengue. The girl is the resident of Sakinaka.
According to the civic report, the girl was rushed to the hospital after she complained of fever, chills and body ache at Jalgaon. She got admitted to Rajawadi hospital in Ghatkopar on October 13 but no sign of her wellness was seen after which she was transferred to KEM hospital in Parel on October 16.
On the day of her admission doctor tried to save her but she scummed to death. This is the fifth death in the city this year.
In the month of October the city had recorded fewer dengue cases nearly 228 as compared to 328 cases in September.
